How are proposed orders handled?

Proposed orders can be eFiled as separate PDFs in the same transaction as other documents. Signed orders will be mailed back to the filer.

Proposed orders after a hearing should be emailed to the department in Microsoft Word format to enable the judge to edit the order.

 
 

Are courtesy copies required?

The court does not accept courtesy copies for Department 16 and Department 18 unless specifically requested by a judge.

 
 

How should documents conditionally under seal be filed?

The Motion to File a Document Under seal should be eFiled with the redacted version of the documents in question.

"The unredacted copies of documents which the party seeks to file under seal should not be eFiled. They should be attached to a conformed copy of the electronically filed motion or application and then submitted directly to the courtroom.”

Documents ordered under seal must be eFiled. Choose the "Confidential" option when adding the document.
