Standard of Diligence

Every service order with One Legal is completed with careful, documented diligence:

  • Up to four attempts at the service address
  • Attempts made at varied times to increase the chance of success
  • Servers log attempts in real time via the One Legal mobile app
  • Photos and GPS coordinates captured whenever possible
  • Professional oversight applied to all service outcomes

Accountability Report

Alongside the affidavit of service (or non-service), One Legal provides an Accountability Report. This includes:

  • Date, time, and outcome of each attempt
  • Photos and GPS data (where permitted)
  • Notes entered by the server in real time
  • This ensures transparency and strengthens the credibility of the service in court.

Internal Review of Non-Services

If service cannot be completed:

  • Our team reviews all attempts before closing the order
  • If diligence criteria are not met, additional attempts are required
  • A non-service affidavit is only issued once all diligence standards are satisfied

Monitoring Timelines

Our operations team monitors every active serve for timeliness. If a job risks falling outside of acceptable timeframes, we intervene immediately. Clients can rely on consistent progress and proactive oversight
